- Commonly used on air braked vehicles designed to tow other air braked vehicles
- Pushing the knob in cuts off air flow to the rear gladhands while pulling the knob out allows air to flow to the rear gladhands & the air braked vehicle being towed preventing false charging
- The optional pintle port allows the air flow to the pintle hook to be controlled as well
